Orchids, orchid supplies and orchid books are our main product lines. We specialize in Paphiopedilums, Phragmipediums and unique species and hybrids. We also offer Nepenthes.
REGULAR HOURS:
We are open Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM. Closed Sundays and Major Holidays.
If you would like to visit our nursery, we are located on the west side of Minneapolis at 4630 Fernbrook Lane North, in Plymouth, Minnesota 55446. To get to us, take the Rockford Road exit (County Road 9) off of I-494 on the west side of the city. Go west two blocks to Fernbrook Lane. Turn right. We are located 1/2 mile north of County Road 9 on the right hand side. Look for our sign.

Orchids for the Holidays!
We carefully pack your orchids and protect them from freezing by lining the boxes with styrofoam planks and including heat packs that last for 2 days.
HOLIDAY SHIPPING SCHEDULE: Weeks of Dec. 1, Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 (weather-permitting): We ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for FedEx 2-day shipments and Monday through Thursday for overnight services. We can ship on Thursday by FedEx 2-day service to arrive on Saturday for an additional $14.00 service charge which will be added to your order.
US Postal Service Express Mail shipments are sent Monday through Thursday and usually arrive the next day. NO shipping on Wed. Dec. 24.
Week of Dec. 22(weather-permitting): LAST day to ship via FedEx 2-day is MONDAY, Dec. 22. LAST day to ship FedEx OVERNIGHT is TUESDAY, Dec. 23. Orders must be received by 12:00 noon CST.
NO shipping on Wednesday, December 24th. CLOSED DECEMBER 25.
Week of Dec. 29: LAST day to ship FedEx 2-Day, MONDAY, Dec. 29; LAST day by FedEx OVERNIGHT, TUESDAY, Dec. 30. NO shipping Wednesday, December 31. CLOSED JANUARY 1, 2009.
If temperature conditions are too cold (near or below zero) we may hold a shipment until the weather improves. We will notify you by e-mail if weather becomes a problem.

Orchid Web Videos
We are creating various how-to and other specialized orchid videos which can be viewed in the learning center section of our web site.
We currently have a video demonstrating how to repot paph/phrag orchids. We also have a sample clip of our new Bloom DVD.

CITES Orchid plant Proposal
Recent changes in CITES requirements have made it difficult for nurseries, and hobbyists alike to import orchid plants from foreign countries. Many artificially propagated species and even hybrids are now becoming more difficult to find or are simply unavailable in many countries as nurseries that once were able to export have found the process too overwhelming in terms of paperwork and time.
Read the proposal that would make importing and exporting legal orchids more efficient and easier.
